This race venue is a unique location outside of Guthrie, OK at Guthrie Lake. This lake is a great location for having a Triathlon. Being a no wake lake makes it off limits to jet ski’s and other water sports. A great place to train for the general Triathlon population in the area. The swim is in a protected “cove” area which on a windy day keeps the waves to a minimum. Sprint/Super Sprint are single loops while the Olympic/Oly Aquabike will be a multiple loop course. Very spectator friendly! The bike course for the Olympic/Sprint/Super Sprint/Duathlon offers a great challenge on asphalt with wide lanes. All distances will be multiple loops with the exception of the SS which will be an out an back. Gives the spectators and your support group optimal viewing of your progress. This year (an future races) will have a "free" under 12 category for any distance including the Duathlon. You will need to purchase a youth USAT license which is good until age 18 with having to renew during that time length.
