Most people don’t know this about me and that’s my fault. Why do I do what I do? I hurt my back in eighth grade football. Believe it or not, back in eighth grade, I was not very big. The best way for me to block was to hit them low and let them land on me. By the end of the season, my back was hurting every day. By the time baseball season started, it was aching into my leg. I tried massage therapy then went to our family doctor. We did all sorts of things to try to help my pain but it just kept getting worse. But I was 13 and from west Texas and we tend to ignore it and work through it. Freshman football 2-a-days started and…oh boy. it was affecting the way I ran, but I really hadn't realized how obvious it was that it was slowing me way down. Then the moment that really stands out. My dad asked me if I still want to play football because it didn’t look like I was trying to run hard. Gut punch moment. I said “Dad, my back and leg are killing me but I just do my best.” Friends of ours from church recommended I see a chiropractor. The closest one that had a great reputation was 30 miles away in Hobbs, New Mexico. I was nervous that first time I went in but I was also desperate to feel better. I was only 14 and already in pain every day. The doctor did a very thorough examination and x-rays and explained to me what was going on that I had a pinched nerve in my low back. He prescribed a plan of adjustments, therapy, and home exercises. That first adjustment changed everything. I was shocked. It was like night and day. I could sit comfortably. I could walk. I could run and it felt better than it had in a year. I followed his treatment plan. I did the home exercises. And the next baseball season, I was running faster than I ever had before. I was overall just a completely different kid.. By the end of my treatment plan, I was able to run faster, lift heavier, sleep better; it had completely changed my life. I realized then that there's an amazing natural option for people who have chronic pain that is not drugs or surgery. Years later, I walked across the stage as a Doctor of Chiropractic. and have dedicated my life to helping patients and people from all over West Texas and Eastern New Mexico, be able to live their life to their ultimate potential. We pride ourselves on taking the hard cases, the ones that are hopeless, where people feel like they are out of options. And in doing that, we're giving them their life back. I’ve walked where they walk and felt what they felt. We want patients who understand the true cost of pain and value earning their way back from it. This brings me to a special invitation Conditions like low-back pain, headaches, neck pain, numbness and sciatica are the body’s way of saying something is wrong. If left untreated they can lead to chronic and severe pain. Because we're committed to helping the local Lubbock community we're offering a consultation, exam, and X-rays (if necessary) for only $67. This is normally valued at $297. We have helped many people with these conditions using safe and NON-SURGICAL methods.
