One of my favourite views from Hallstatt…though we took way too many steps to get here 👣. �Brought the SPLÄSH 2.0 from @Gastonluga on my last work trip to Austria and here’s a quick review of it! Generally it’s a big upgrade from my first Gaston Luga bag a couple of years ago. Given that I’m outdoors a lot, the 8000nM waterproof material is pretty handy when there’s light rain/snow. It can’t withstand prolonged exposure, but if you’re moving from point to point, it’s quite ok. Also I easily cleaned off a coffee stain. The design is also really sleek despite the size. Fits my 16” MBP in the laptop sleeve perfectly. Plenty of compartments for the travel stuff, which was the issue I had with my first bag. Cushioned back support was a nice quality of life upgrade. Along with the chest straps, really made moving around with a heavy bag easy. Was travelling during winter so can’t say if the breathable cushion was really effective though. What I really liked though was the back strap so it fits nicely on your luggage handle. A simple but often overlooked thing that makes life a lot easier at the airport.
