I have massive respect for teachers that stick with it, but they deserve better. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 👉 1/3 of teachers in the UK leave the profession within the first five years, with 20-25% leaving within the first three years! From experience, the workload in the first few years of teaching is huge, and it doesn't stop when the school day ends. Teachers work long hours; including evenings and weekends and school holidays, meaning some teachers end up working 50 to 60 hours per week but only get paid for 40. Endless paperwork & admin, performance reviews/Ofsted, extracurricular expectations, behaviour management, ongoing need to retrain and upskill due to curriculum and assessment changes, the emotional demands, the list goes on... This results in many teachers reaching burn out. ✄ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I tried in vain for so many years in so many jobs to strike the ever elusive work/life balance; and it turns out that teaching was the last place I was going to find it! I needed a way out of working a job altogether at this point, so I started looking into ways in which I could become my own boss working online - I found high ticket affiliate marketing and have never looked back. I have since earned in one week working two hours a day, what it would have taken me in one month working up to 50 hours a week.. I've got my time back, and my income is now uncapped. The irony is, you don't have to go to school or have any qualifications at all to do it. 🥲 We have lots of teachers in our online community that are learning how to do the same.
