Bishop Blanchet High School Band - Free Concert at the RIAM in Dublin!

Join Bishop Blanchet High School for a free concert at Whyte Recital Hall at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin! Experience the energy of an authentic American high school music program as they bring their Drumline, Concert Band, and Jazz Band on tour across Ireland. After performances in Galway and Cork, the tour concludes in Dublin. The Bishop Blanchet music program features a dynamic Drumline performing at major school events, including football and basketball games, as well as assemblies. The Concert Band presents a wide range of traditional repertoire at seasonal concerts, graduation ceremonies, and sporting events. The Jazz Band is made up of highly skilled young musicians who regularly compete and perform across the Pacific Northwest. Directed by John Van Duinen, a University of Michigan–trained jazz percussionist and educator, the program is led by a passionate and experienced musician now based in Seattle, where he leads multiple ensembles and music initiatives. This concert takes place indoors at Whyte Recital Hall — we warmly invite you to join us for an evening of live music!
