A sunflower today for those who think of us when they come across things that could be useful 🌻🌻🌻. This includes (but is not limited to): Brett and Melanie who saved 100 collapsible frames from going into landfill - we can use them as garden beds in our HomeGrown project. Trish and Grant of Profile Extrusions who gifted us some ‘plastic’ warratahs and other goodies which we will trial in our big garden. Aaaalll the ‘tools and treasures’ from the Kumeu Community Garden which sadly had to close down due to lack of volunteers. Jeff and Shona who gave us a cast iron bath for our worm farm 🪱🪱🪱 …and so many others who give us a whistle and ask “Hey, can you use this?”…the answer often is a resounding “Yes, please!” Here at SKGF, we make every dollar go as far as possible - so, when we get handy free stuff, we are very grateful 🥰.
