The Panarea capsule collection — designed by @paoloandcappello — explores the dialogue between material and Mediterranean landscape. Composed of the Basiluzzo and Dattilo tables, the collection is defined by clean volumes, essential surfaces, and geometries reminiscent of emerging marine fragments. Here, concrete becomes domestic architecture, transforming raw matter into a sculptural and timeless presence. The distinctive sanded effect reveals Tevere river sand embedded in the mix, creating a tangible link between the Aeolian Islands and the Roman territory. Through a polishing process reminiscent of the slow erosion of sea waves, fragments and residues from previous castings resurface, becoming material traces that embody authentic sustainability.
