Do you have, or know someone with, a child with autism between ages 4-8? We at the Developmental Neuroscience Lab at UCSD would love to invite you to participate in an exciting online study! During this study, your child will see faces and we will ask questions about the faces. At the end, we ask you to fill out two short surveys about your child’s social behaviors and symptoms. The participation will take about 15 minutes. 1. Go to Children Helping Science (https://childrenhelpingscience.com/) and navigate to the top right corner of the page where you should be able to either click log in or sign up. *if you already have an account feel free to skip to the second step! Making a CHS account: · Click on the sign up link on the top right of the CHS home page · Enter your desired account details (email, nickname, and password) and then click next · Enter some demographic information about yourself and then press save · Now press add your child and enter some details we will need about your child (birth date, name etc.) · After adding your child you can adjust email preferences (how we can contact you after you complete the study) · Now you and your child have a CHS account, and can participate in dozens of studies! 2. Go to our study How Do Kids With Autism See Faces? (https://childrenhelpingscience.com/studies/79f195ae-0475-410b-a81d-e976a8333fb5/) 3.
