Neck pain, stiffness, and headaches that never seem to go away? That was my life for over 7 months. Every day waking up to that burning ache in my neck… Eating lunch to a dull, throbbing pain… Falling asleep to a pounding headache. There wasn’t a point throughout my day where I felt comfortable. And apparently, when he looked at my neck, he said the problem was happening from something called “nerve compression.” I guess, according to him, my neck posture had gotten so bad that my neck was tilted forward, and the nerves in my neck were starting to be stretched out of place. And those nerves? That’s what he said was causing all the pain and stiffness. So I asked… “Dr. Sullivan, what should I do about it then?” That’s when he walked out of the room for 30 seconds and walked back in with this weird-looking thing in his hand. The best way I could describe it is like a pillow. He said this was a brand new treatment that medical doctors were now recommending to patients struggling with neck pain, tension, and nerve issues (or what he called “nerve compression”). I was so weirded out. I thought he was gonna give me a pill or something. Instead, I was being given this weird pillow looking device. He insisted that I use it, since I guess it’s gotten so popular in the doctor world. So I trusted him… and did. I followed the directions exactly as he wrote out for me. I turned the device on, laid down on it, and stayed there for 15 minutes. I felt the device was doing some weird thing with my neck while using it. Almost like a mini massage was going on from all the stuff inside the pillow. It felt really soothing to be honest. But I didn’t get my hopes up high because I thought it would be short-term relief. But what blew my mind… was when I lifted my head up. The pain? It felt so much less. I was literally able to turn my head much more to the side before the stabbing feeling came in. I got off the couch and started rubbing my neck to see if the pain would come back—it didn’t. I went over to my kitchen and cleaned the dirty dishes, expecting that the pain would find it’s way back to my neck. But believe it or not, it never did. This wasn’t just momentary relief… it was lasting relief. So I kept using it for the next 7 weeks as instructed… And fast forward to today—the pain in my neck is completely gone. I’m still in disbelief myself. I completely underestimated this thing. I was expecting at best, short-term relief. But no. I’m literally turning my head right now as I write this & don’t feel a thing. It feels like I almost never had neck pain to begin with. This thing… literally saved my life. It’s made me so much more appreciative of how life is without neck pain. And now I wanna share it with the world, to let them know that there’s something out there that actually works. So I did some digging to see if there are any articles on the thing I used to see if I could share it with others.
