Tap "Apply Now" to learn more about compensation details. ✅ Benefits • Health insurance • Life insurance • Retirement plan • Paid time off • Employee assistance program 🧠 Required Qualifications • 5+ years of construction accounting experience in a union environment • Proven experience working with multiple collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) • Hands-on experience with union payroll and fringe benefit calculations • Experience with job costing, labor cost allocation, and AIA billing (G702/G703) • Percentage-of-completion and WIP reporting knowledge • Strong Excel skills for job cost, labor, and reconciliation work • High attention to detail with ability to manage frequent rate changes • Experience with construction accounting systems such as Sage 100 Contractor, Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Foundation, or Procore Financials 💼 What You'll Do • Maintain detailed job cost records by project, phase, and cost code • Allocate union labor costs including base wage, fringes, assessments, and labor burden • Prepare monthly AIA billings and maintain Schedules of Values • Assist with WIP schedules using the cost-to-cost method • Process union payroll across multiple trades and locals, interpreting CBAs with differing wage rates, fringe structures, overtime rules, and shift differentials • Calculate, track, and reconcile union fringe benefits (pension, health & welfare, annuity, apprenticeship funds, assessments) • Prepare and submit union reports and assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting • Support month-end close, audit support, and compliance documentation This is not general accounting or standard payroll.
