Our first guest cottage room debut!!! Looking SO charming thanks to @allmodern :) The paint job added SO much to this room, but once we got the furniture in here, the room just came alive. The deeper tones of the walnut furniture and the creamy oatmeal upholstery were all part of the plan, but it wasn’t until it was all in there that we started feeling giddy with how it was turning out. I love when a room comes together even better than you pictured it, and this one definitely did. The furniture was a huge part of making this space feel finished without making it feel too “new,” which was exactly what I wanted for this old cottage.
