"After more than seven years of prayers, the wonderful St. Clare’s pensioners have finally received recognition of the wrongdoing we suffered through. Now justice will prevail," says Mary Hartshorne. Her statement comes after a jury's verdict awarded $54.2 million in restored pension benefits to over 1,100 former employees of St. Clare’s Hospital of Schenectady, New York. Mary and her fellow pensioners were represented by AARP Foundation attorneys and co-counsel in the case.
