The longer one is harder to fit into a single sentence, because it’s less about what we do and more about how we travel. We believe the camera is an excuse. An excuse to slow down, to look twice, to talk to the stranger, to take the long road instead of the fast one. To let a place change you a little before you leave it. The camera is also a way. Our way of relating to the world. To places, to people, to nature. It’s the thread that connects us to what’s in front of us, and the reason we pay attention in the first place. That’s what we build our trips around. Not itineraries to tick off, but spaces to notice things, and to come home with images that actually mean something to you. La larga es más difícil de meter en una frase, porque no va tanto de qué hacemos, sino de cómo viajamos. Creemos que la cámara es una excusa. Una excusa para ir más despacio, para mirar dos veces, para hablar con el desconocido, para coger el camino largo en vez del rápido. Para dejar que un lugar te cambie un poco antes de irte. La cámara también es una forma de relacionarnos con el mundo. Con los lugares, con las personas, con la naturaleza. Es el hilo que nos conecta con lo que tenemos delante, y la razón por la que prestamos atención. Sobre eso construimos nuestros viajes. No itinerarios para tachar, sino espacios para fijarte en las cosas, y para volver a casa con imágenes que de verdad significan algo para ti.
