#ad Growing up in a big family, @pillsbury was one of those brands that was just part of so many meals and memories. Orange Sweet Rolls and grits at my grandparents’ house, Pillsbury biscuit dough in chicken and dumplings, and of course the crescent taco ring that a friend made for our family when I was a kid and we all ended up loving.
Simple, comforting, easy-to-make recipes that somehow always feel like more when everyone is sitting around the table together.
For this one, I took that classic crescent ring idea and had a little fun with it, making a few different versions for dinner and dessert. I love that Pillsbury makes it easy to keep those familiar family favorites going while still finding new ways to make them your own. And what’s even better? Pillsbury crescents are now MORE* flaky, giving us more to share, more reasons to gather and more memories to make around the table. *vs the prior recipe
#PillsburyPartner ‌ Churro Cheesecake Crescent Ring
Ingredients
2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Fresh strawberries, for serving
Directions
Heat oven to 375°F.
Beat the softened cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla just until combined.
Arrange the crescent roll triangles in a ring on a parchment-lined baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends in the center.
Spoon the cheesecake filling evenly around the wide part of the dough.
Fold the pointed ends of the crescents over the filling and tuck them underneath to form the ring.
Bake until puffed and deep golden brown, about 20–25 minutes.
Brush the warm ring with melted butter.
Mix the remaining 1/3 cup sugar with the cinnamon and generously sprinkle it over the entire ring.
Serve warm with sliced strawberries in the center for dipping.
Save this one for an easy dessert that looks way more impressive than the work it takes to make it!
