I lowered a client’s Meta ads budget from $150 a day to $18. Her cost per sale dropped from $136 to $3. Same campaign. Same ads. Same audience. The only thing I changed was the daily budget. This doesn’t mean a smaller budget is always better. Sometimes a campaign is spending too little to get enough data, and that can hurt results too. But many ad accounts have a daily budget range where Meta performs best. Go below it, and the campaign can struggle to learn. Go above it, and Meta starts spending money on people who are much less likely to buy. That is when ads start feeling expensive for no obvious reason.
