I've spent a lot of time lately talking about the parts of my body I don't love. The loose skin, my wrinkly stomach.. Alllll the things I still catch myself picking apart in the mirror. And if I'm being honest, those thoughts are real. I'm not going to pretend I wake up every morning completely in love with every inch of myself because... I don't. But I realized something. I spend so much time talking about what I wish was different that I haven't stopped to appreciate everything that's actually pretty damn incredible. I love my shoulders. They've gone from non-existent to making me feel strong in a tank top. I love my back. Every pull-up progression, every row, every deadlift has changed it. I love that my legs can carry me through hikes that would've absolutely humbled me a few years ago. I love that I can walk into a gym and not wonder if I belong there anymore. I love that food doesn't control every decision I make. I love that I trust myself now. And maybe my favourite thing... I love that this body has never actually been the problem. It carried me when I was over 100 pounds heavier. It carries me now. It'll carry me through whatever comes next. Sure, there are parts I'd still change tomorrow if I could. And I've made peace with how I handle those parts on the days the mirror wins. For me, that's my Cellumove leggings.
