Bonsai Enthusiasts…SAVE THE DATE Join us for a weekend of breathtaking bonsai! Explore a stunning collection of meticulously crafted bonsai trees on display and enjoy live bonsai demonstrations at 10:00am and 2pm daily, where experts will share their knowledge and technique. Browse the extensive sales area, where you can purchase bonsai trees, pre bonsai green stock, tools, pots, wire, books, and all the accessories you need to support your bonsai journey. “Make a Bonsai” workshops daily at 11.30 and 3pm are just $20 per participant per session, including tree, soil and pot. You walk away with a new beginner bonsai, and to help with future care, your participation includes a 12 months membership of Bimer Bonsai Club which needs to be redeemed by attending a club meeting during June or July. Please note: “Make a Bonsai” workshop tickets can only be purchased from the reception area at the Bonsai Show and are limited to 20 participants per workshop. Arrive early before each session to secure your ticket and avoid missing out. The show takes place at the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, AUDITORIUM BUILDING (next to the Brisbane Planetarium), with free parking available at the gardens and overflow parking across the road. Doors are open from 9am to 4pm daily on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026, and entry is just $3 per person, with children under 15 free (tickets at the door).
