One colour. One community. One powerful message: Every child deserves to be understood. This National ADHD Awareness Day, we're inviting South Africa to turn yellow and create a Sea of Yellow in support of children, families, and individuals living with ADHD. On 11 September, wear something yellow, share your photos, and stand with us to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and show children with ADHD that they are seen, supported, and celebrated. Whether you're a parent, learner, teacher, school, business, community group, or simply someone who cares, there's a place for you in our Sea of Yellow. 💛 How to Take Part: - For Individual Supporters: Make a R10 donation, wear yellow on 11 September, and share your photos using #SeaOfYellow. Every R10 helps the Goldilocks and The Bear Foundation continue providing early identification, support, education, and referrals for children experiencing ADHD and other barriers to learning. - For Schools: Register your school as an Official Sea of Yellow School and invite your learners and staff to wear yellow on 11 September. As a thank you, participating schools will receive FREE ADHD parent resources, packed with practical tips, strategies, and everyday tools that families can use at home to better support children with ADHD. Throughout September, we'll also be celebrating our participating schools across our social media channels as part of our Sea of Yellow Champions campaign. - For Businesses & Organisations Want to make an even bigger impact? Become an Official Sea of Yellow Partner by making a once-off corporate contribution. We'll work with you to arrange payment in the way that suits your organisation, whether by invoice or another preferred method.
