THIS WAS HOW I ALMOST CANCELLED MY CRUSADE AFTER THE FIRST DAY God showed up for us in this crusade in a way we will never forget. The first day looked discouraging. The crowd was small. The atmosphere felt heavy. It seemed like nobody wanted to come. For a moment, I almost considered cancelling everything. We had spent so much. We had prayed. We had fasted. We had publicized. Yet the field looked empty. It tested our faith deeply. But I told my team, “If this is God’s will, let His will be done.” We will not quit. We will not turn back. We will see this crusade through to the very end. Some suggested we should cancel it and move somewhere else where we would be accepted. But I said, “No. We are not going anywhere. We will finish what we started. Even if this crusade is for just one soul, it is worth it.” I will be honest. I felt the weight. I felt the pressure. I felt the discouragement trying to creep in. Then suddenly, the Holy Spirit rested upon me. The atmosphere shifted. I felt the anointing so strongly. Faith rose up inside me. Boldness came alive. I commanded the atmosphere in the name of Jesus, and heaven responded. I cannot fully explain how God did it, but people suddenly began coming out of their houses. They came from different directions. What looked empty began to fill. The first day ended with joy. What seemed small became a testimony. But God was only getting started. The second day came, and the crowd increased. Hunger for Jesus filled the place. I knew revival was breaking out. I declared, “Men must be drawn to Jesus!” And they came. My major aim for this crusade was to see souls drawn to Jesus in great numbers, and Jesus did it for us. Many came out to surrender their lives to Him. On the final day, every chair was filled. Some people stood because there was no more space to sit. They stood hungry for God, desperate for His presence. I handled the preaching on the last day. I preached Jesus. I preached His love. I preached salvation as it was in the days of old. We refused to collect any offering. We did not raise any seed. Instead, we gave food items freely. And then it happened. Many came forward and gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Tears flowed. Hearts were healed. Souls were restored. The people were amazed. They had never seen anything like it before. Even now, the glory of God from that crusade is still being talked about. What the enemy meant for discouragement, God turned into revival. Never despise small beginnings. When God is involved, He always finishes what He starts.
