Find out why AFLW Superstar Katie Brennan loves training at USP and wishes there was one in Melbourne where she lives.. (Hint: Katie actually went on to start her own KB Performance Centre - which in her own words was like the USP PIT for females) Who is Katie Brennan? - Richmond AFLW Captain - 2022 All Australian AFLW Representative They say the best coaches have a vision greater than you. I first met Katie Brennan when she was a skinny 16 year old girl with big dreams but a broken body... - Osteitis pubis - Chronically overtrained and a a now well documented eating disorder Plus a few other things we won't dive into. She would make the 1.5hr trip down from Brisbane Train 2 hours then drive back for 2 hours. That is what we call commitment.. There's a very big difference between commitment and interest. Athletes go to where they get the best results.. It's funny parents and athlete contact us and ask where the gym is located and find out it's 20mins away and say it's too far to drive.. Too far to drive to pursue your sporting destiny and sporting dreams? Are you kidding me... I know that any serious athlete will go wherever they get the best results... A chance to make their sporting dreams a reality... Everyone is working towards a common goal of being your best self.. They just need a place to flourish - and that place is USP.
