⚡️🚌 Ember are hiring drivers in Aberdeen and Inverness! 🚌 ⚡️ Alongside our recent introduction of the E14 connecting Inverness to Oban and Fort William, we're expanding our excellent driving team as we add more new routes and serve new communities right across Aberdeenshire, Perth & Kinross, Angus, Moray and the Highlands. Next up will be an exciting new route out of our Aberdeen Hub (more to come on that soon!) If you’re keen to progress your career in intercity coach driving, and would like to drive our state of the art 2025 plate electric coaches between Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness, Oban, Fort William and many more upcoming locations, then we'd love to hear from you. With a starting pay rate of £15.50 per hour (from May 2026) and a guaranteed increase to at least £16.30 per hour once you've been with the team for a year, there are also regular opportunities for overtime. We offer 40 guaranteed hours each week so that Ember's drivers know their established take home pay (even if they are scheduled for fewer hours), and we are also happy to adjust the guaranteed hours for any drivers who would like the confidence of guaranteed work alongside the flexibility of working part-time. Ember offer flexible annual leave bookings - meaning that drivers can choose and request their own holidays, meaning flexibility for that all-important downtime.
