Because carrying bear spray and knowing HOW to deploy it are two very different things. 👀 Hopefully you never need to use the SABRE Frontiersman MAX Bear & Mountain Lion Spray, but preparedness also means knowing HOW to use the gear you carry, in case. One of my favorite features is that SABRE makes an inert training canister so you can actually safely PRACTICE using it before you ever need the real thing. The trail isn’t the place to figure it out for the first time. 😆 @sabresafety is the only brand I trust for my personal safety and protection on adventures; with a spray range of 40ft (12 meters) and 6 seconds of spray–you can bet I will have this bear spray close by. Important Notes: 🪩As soon as you seen the bear, grab the spray & remove the safety clip. 🪩Gently talk to the bear “heyyyy there bear” and slowly back away if you’re face-to-face. 🪩DO NOT RUN or put your back to the bear. Stay as calm as you can. 🪩Always check the laws/regulations on bear spray where you’re recreating. 🪩Practing using the bear spray is crucial since these moments will be high-stress. 🪩Each person should carry their own can of bear spray! 🪩Follow the rules/regulations for food storage if you’re camping/backpacking. Shoutout to Gus for being today’s training bear. Thanks, buddy. 🐻 💬 Want to get your hands on my favorite preparedness and safety item/bear + mountain lion spray? Comment GUS and he will personally send you the link and BETHANY15 saves you some monies at check out (15% off!!). Stay Safe. Stay Stoked. #BearSpray #SABREBearSpray #Preparedness #TrailSafety
