⚽ Germany is kicking off the 2026 World Cup, and Curaçao is waiting for them. 🏝️ For this small Caribbean island nation, it is their first ever World Cup – and, with a population of around 156,000, they are also the smallest country ever to take part. By way of comparison: that’s roughly the same number of people as in the German city of Heidelberg. But regardless of its size, Curaçao has already brought plenty of energy to the tournament, including dance performances on the team bus and during training. 🕺 We’re looking forward to the first match!
