Ad text
There are seasons where we have a fair bit of control. We make decisions and they happen. We set the direction and we make it to the destination. And then there are seasons where we don’t. Where the outcome sits outside of our agency. In someone else’s hands. Or in circumstances we didn’t choose. And no amount of effort seems to move it. Those seasons can do something to us. They can make us anxious. Tired. A little overwhelmed. Because we’re carrying things that were never meant to be carried alone. I’m learning that following Jesus isn’t about getting more control. It’s about trusting God with what I can’t control. Which sounds simple. But can be really hard in real life. So this is a prayer for that kind of season. Not to fix everything. But to help you loosen your grip… and trust God with the outcome.
