Friend, you’re invited! In Matthew 8:11, Jesus proclaimed, “Many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.” Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, wants you to attend His feast! Don’t worry if you’re a sinner who did the meanest things in life. Even if your life is full of hate, deceit, selfishness, lies, greed, cheating, violence, and sexual immorality, you’re still invited. Yes, this is not a mistake! Jesus wants you to attend. How do I know this? Because God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins (John 3:16). Humanity tortured Jesus and humiliated Him despite His complete innocence. He took all the violent punishments with humility and never complained. Jesus was then crucified with two career criminals, one on each side, at Golgotha while His blood poured down from all over His body. I can only imagine the incredible pain He went through as a human being as He cried out to heaven in Matthew 27:46: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” And you know what? Jesus did this to save us from all our sins. Not just two or five of our sins, but every single thing we did wrong since birth. That’s how much Jesus loves us because His love is perfect, unconditional, and free from any judgment. Jesus once said, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13] Here’s the good news! Jesus defeated death on the third day by the glory of God so we can finally have a chance at salvation. Now, here’s my question for you. Will you accept His invitation? Would you like to erase all your sins and start fresh? Jesus is reaching out to you right now, and He’s ready to forgive you. Even if you turned away from Him before, He wants you back (Luke 15:4-6). It’s no mistake that you’re reading this. Jesus knows exactly who you are and what you’re going through in life. In fact, He knows you by name and even the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30). If you’re tired and feel burdened, don’t worry, Jesus will carry you in His arms and give you rest (Matthew 11:28). As long as you’re in Jesus, He will not abandon or forget you. And let me tell you, He can’t wait to wipe all your tears away and remove all your worries. If you’re ready to accept the invitation, please put your hands together and say this prayer: “Father in heaven, I completely repent. I am ready to turn my life around for You. Please forgive me. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. From this day forward, Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I will start learning His teachings and practice them with a grateful heart. Thank you, God, for sending Your Son to save me. This I pray in Jesus’ name, amen.” Welcome to God’s family! In Luke 15:10, Jesus told a crowd of unrighteous people: “I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Next steps: 1. Attend a church nearby, or look for a Sunday worship service on YouTube. 2. Get baptized so you’ll be born again in spirit (ask the church). 3. Start reading the Bible and pray daily (at least twice) to create a close relationship with God. **Follow us on Facebook to get our weekly Bible teachings.
