■Acts 17:29 "“Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞—an image made by human design and skill." ■Deuteronomy 4:28 "There you will worship man-made gods of wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell." ■Leviticus 26:1 "‘Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 in your land to bow down before it. There you will worship other gods, gods of wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞." ■Deuteronomy 28:64 "Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, which neither you nor your ancestors have known." ■Deuteronomy 29:17 "You saw among them their detestable images and idols of wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, of silver and gold." ■2 Kings 19:18 "They have thrown their gods into the fire and destroyed them, for they were not gods but only wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, fashioned by human hands." ■Isaiah 37:19 "They have thrown their gods into the fire and destroyed them, for they were not gods but only wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, fashioned by human hands." ■Jeremiah 2:27 "They say to wood, ‘You are my father,’ and to 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, ‘You gave me birth.’ They have turned their backs to me and not their faces; yet when they are in trouble, they say, ‘Come and save us!’" ■Jeremiah 3:9 "Because Israel’s immorality mattered so little to her, she defiled the land and committed adultery with 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 and wood." ■Ezekiel 20:32 "You say, “We want to be like the nations, like the peoples of the world, who serve wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞.” But what you have in mind will never happen." ■Daniel 5:4 "As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞." ■Daniel 5:23 "Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways." ■Habakkuk 2:19 "Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’ Or to lifeless 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, ‘Wake up!’ Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it.” ■Jeremiah 2:27 NIV They say to wood, ‘You are my father,’ and to 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, ‘You gave me birth.’ They have turned their backs to me and not their faces; yet when they are in trouble, they say, ‘Come and save us!’ #JesusIsKing #bibleverse #peace #worship #gospel #holyspirit #scripture #way #truth #life ■James 5:19-20 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
