Much cheaper than zoos, we provide an affordable (and hands-on) alternative without the stress of school-trip logistics 🦎Proud of the highest animal welfare standards - we are very passionate about our animals and each animal is a member of our much loved family. We don't compromise on animal welfare during the delivery of our sessions and we encourage children to think about this topic in terms of responsible pet ownership 🐍Curriculum focused: educational visits can be tailored to your current teaching topics, on the themes of biology, evolution, adaptations, genetics, biodiversity, conservation, food webs and much more. Being fully aware of the DfE Science KS1 - KS3 National Curriculum and relevant KS4 and KS5 syllabuses, our sessions are a way to reinforce and support teacher's plans in a fun and interactive way 🐸The only animal educator to be a Supporting Organisational Member of The Royal Society of Biology. We're really proud to have this membership status and endorsement which no other provider has achieved, attributed to our exemplary education and welfare standards. 🐢Already representing you! As an RSB member, our Director sits on the Education Policy Advisory Group (EPAG) and Bioscience Education Research Group (BERG). This allows us to bring your issues and needs to the front of science education discussion, including lobbying government. Booking with us supports us to keep doing this 🦎Also open for centre visits: if you are looking to organise a fun school trip, our new centre in Dorset is able to host school groups on trips. It's a fantastic opportunity to see our animal residents in their full enclosures and outside on the farm, as well as some of our larger animals who would not travel to schools for welfare reasons For more information or to make a booking (please note lines are exceptionally busy at this time of year but we will get back to you if you are able to leave a message) Email: [email protected] Telephone: 02380 394174
