After six years, 13 procedures and a whole lot of courage, I became a mum. And I realised there were no children's books that reflected how families like mine were built: through love, science and an entire village of hearts. So I wrote one. Our Village has now reached families all around the world and here at home in Australia. It celebrates donor-conceived, IVF and same-sex families through the lens of my own journey to motherhood.
