With 14 years of training, Katie was one of the first three students under Mr Giovenco to earn both a Junior Black Belt and later an Adult Black Belt. Today, she plays a key role in mentoring and developing the next generation, leading classes with confidence, care, and purpose. Highlights through her students: 🥋 Guiding students to achieve Junior Black Belts and competition success 🏆 Coaching and supporting youth athletes at international events, including Oceania Championships in New Zealand (2024) and the World Championships in Las Vegas (2025) 👊 Helping young students build confidence, discipline, and leadership on and off the mats Looking Ahead: Katie has completed Year 12 and is in the final year of her studies to become a Primary School Teacher, driven by her passion for helping, supporting, and shaping young minds—both in the classroom and on the mats.
