You’ve gotta let me and Ashlyn sleep.” Bentley yawns. “Sure,” I mutter. “Now you want to sleep.” I carry him into the nursery and lay him gently in his crib, giving him his pacifier and turning on the circus animal mobile Ashlyn picked out. “She did a good job decorating this room for you,” I say softly. “She’s good at a lot of things.” His eyes drift closed as he suckles sleepily. “Do me a favor, Little Man. Go easy on her, alright?
