Margheritta Azzara was born in 1875 in Montevago, Sicily. She married Francesco Palma in 1898 in Montevago. They emigrated to America, aboard the Tarter Prince, arriving in New York harbor. Margheritta and Francesco became American citizens in 1922. This was her ring - The timeless antique platinum diamond and sapphire ring features a 1.65 ct Old European Cut diamond that predates both world wars, intricate scrollwork and assorted shaped diamonds and Sapphires with an approximate total ct weight of 2.15. We are selling the ring for $16,999. Margheritta passed away in New York in 1952 and the ring was passed onto her daughter and eventually her great-granddaughter Nancy who lives in St Augustine.
