After some hesitation- of course- they decide to enjoy themselves for a 8 week fling. As if that ever had worked in history! Little by little they get to know each other and deeper feelings emerge. The best part of the book for me was seeing Tommy threw Foster‘s eyes - see how he adores him and his competence and dedication to his work - how he lights up in a tough situation, keeps a clear head and thrives when helping people. I love how they adore each other and all the flirting and bickering while working together professionally- they understand and rely on each other completely and their love story is one of the most romantic ones I read lately. Lucy made me feel all the butterflies with just their first kiss scene (don’t even needed the 🌶️ stuff) and their romantic gestures. I watched with excitement how they finally get their head out of the sand and allow themselves to be happy & loved and to make it work despite of all the obstacles.
