Whoever made this billboard might be getting sued. Which is wild… because I’m pretty sure the brand people are thinking of is one that’s sold at most stores. A couple years ago, I started getting more serious about going non-toxic at home. Like a lot of people, I used to use the most affordable brands until I did some research. What I learned was shocking: despite being marketed as ‘clean’ and ‘safe,’ many laundry detergents have been linked to hormone disruption, dementia, and even cancer. Formaldehyde releasers. SLS. The worst part: 1,4-Dioxane, a human carcinogen that doesn’t have to be listed on the label. How is that legal? I applaud the person who was brave enough to make this billboard. They didn't do it to scare people, but to make sure families aren’t being misled by big companies who profit off of us being sick.
