From awareness to action: how Donnelly Group is strengthening mental health support at work with Health Matters Training. Since 2019, Health Matters Training has supported Donnelly Group in developing its workplace mental health strategy through IOSH Mental Health First Aid at Work training. Delivered face-to-face across multiple Donnelly Group sites, the training has helped employees develop the practical skills and confidence to recognise, respond to and support colleagues experiencing mental health challenges. To date, 48 Mental Health First Aider certifications have been achieved, including new qualifications and refresher training — helping Donnelly Group establish and maintain a network of trained Mental Health First Aiders across its workforce. As Roisin Donnelly, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility & Staff Engagement, shared: “The IOSH course contained a lot of practical work and case studies enhanced engagement. The trainers are highly experienced and the standard of training was excellent.” 🏢 Looking to bring mental health training directly to your workplace? Health Matters Training delivers tailored in-company training across Northern Ireland, helping organisations build the knowledge, confidence and skills to better support mental health at work.
