I grew up a shell of the woman I am today.. I pinned my entire value on how small I was.. which was hard work as my body isn’t naturally skinny I have a bum and hips and curves - but growing up i could never accept this and I just wanted to shrink it all. And be smaller and smaller and smaller. I tried every quick fix, I tried every diet and fad - I even made up my own few along the way. My body image was on the floor, and I hated everything about myself and what I saw in the mirror. I compared myself to all my friends and just never felt like I fit in. I thought being smaller would make me more confident? Would make me happy? Would bring me some sort of fulfilment? I was chasing this idea that ironically made me miserable. I would skip meals, try juice diets, detox’s and some weeks only eat salads (we’ve all been there) I remember at one stage for a solid 2 months eating 800 calories daily - and yes I did see results. But they disappeared just as fast when I actually started eating food again. What I’ve learned along the way is that these “diets” don’t actually work because if they did - I wouldn’t have been fluctuating and going back and forth so fckn much. From the ages of 12-24 I just fought with myself and my own body doing and trying EVERYTHING. I did finally come out the other side.. but it did take time.. and a lot of hard work and rewiring of the brain I don’t want you making the same mistake as me - I don’t want you living in that negative narrative and self doubt. I’m here to help, because you don’t need to be stuck in that rut you’re in. I’m here to help because I want you to do better ♥️ So yes I’ve been in your shoes. Don’t trust me because I’ve online coach in my bio.. trust me because I’ve been there too ♥️
