Here’s how I did it… When I first started CPAP, it was a nightmare…. The mask was bulky, uncomfortable, and difficult to sleep with… So my sleep actually got worse. I was snoring, I had a disgusting dry mouth, and I’d wake up with headaches almost every day. I honestly thought about giving up CPAP therapy altogether at this point. But first, I did a little research to find out why this was happening to me… Turns out it’s because of something called mouth leaks. When you fall asleep, the muscles in your jaw relax which allows your mouth to drop open. If your mouth is open like this, the pressurized air from your CPAP escapes out of your mouth instead of clearing your obstructed airways. So a big enough mouth leak can cause a partial, or even full airway collapse. Which ruins your sleep and defeats the purpose of CPAP therapy. There’s a few common fixes for mouth leaks… I tried them all, and none of them worked. First I tried a chin strap. It’s a strap that goes around the top of your head and your chin. The idea is that the chinstrap will keep your mouth closed and stop air from escaping out of your mouth. But it doesn’t work like that. There’s a BIG problem with chinstraps that no one talks about… The chinstrap doesn’t fully seal your mouth. The lips can still open up enough to allow air to leak out. Which defeats the purpose of therapy. Not only that… Chin straps are also very uncomfortable to sleep in. They put pressure on your jaw and top of your head all night. It can cause teeth grinding and jaw soreness while the air still leaks out… No good. I honestly couldn’t stand the chinstrap. I wore it for 2 nights and said never again. Next I tried the full face mask. You’ve probably seen one of these before… The mask that covers your nose AND your mouth. Most people think that because a full face mask is bigger, it won’t leak. But that’s wrong. Full face masks have more surface area than nasal pillow masks. So there’s a big seal and more places where the seal can break. Once the seal breaks, the pressurized air leaks out. Which is exactly what happened to me… Plus the full face mask is bigger, bulkier and more uncomfortable to sleep with (at least that’s how it was for me). Needless to say, the full face mask didn’t work either. I know some people try cranking up the pressure on their CPAP. But that usually just makes the leak worse… Because even more air will be escaping out of your mouth. After all this research I realized that none of the common solutions address the actual cause of mouth leaks… So I knew I needed something different. A real fix had to do four things: It had to keep my mouth closed all night — without restricting my breathing. It had to be safe to use with a CPAP. It had to be comfortable. And it couldn’t irritate my skin, cause skin damage of any kind or leave pressure marks on my face. After a lot of searching, I finally found something that actually works. This is PAP MD mouth tape. I was skeptical at first. The idea of putting tape over my mouth sounded pretty strange… But research conducted at Stanford found that it's totally safe. While another study from 2025 found that it helps CPAP users lower their AHI and stop mouth leaks. Yet another study published in 2022 found that mouth tape helps you get significantly better sleep. Because it reduces sleep disturbances along with the snoring index or how much you snore. So mouth tape is actually proven - by the latest scientific research - to make CPAP therapy more effective. But when it comes to mouth tape you need to be REALLY careful which tapes you use. Because some tapes are better than others. See, many of the tapes you'd find in stores, online or just laying around your house… Are made with cheap, plasticy materials that should NOT be used on the delicate skin around your lips and mouth. Because they can cause irritation, skin damage or even tears. Or they're simply too small to cover your mouth… And they peel off from condensation, humidity or moisture. If the tape peels off… It's useless. Air will just leak out of your mouth again…. Which you know defeats the purpose of CPAP. That’s why I love PAP MD. It’s made specifically for CPAP users. It's the perfect size to cover your mouth… with no holes or gaps where air can leak out. Plus you can feel a difference in quality. Each PAP MD strip is made with latex free materials…And medical grade adhesive that's soft and gentle on skin… So it never causes irritation or breakouts. But it still has a firm hold so it won’t peel off during the night from the humidity or moisture of the CPAP. It even sticks to beards and facial hair. To put it simply… PAP MD helps you breathe better… and makes cpap more effective. It’s been a few months since I started using PAP MD. But I noticed a difference almost right away. The first thing I noticed is that I immediately started sleeping better… See, when you wear this tape it stops mouth leaks. So your CPAP can function the way it should. You start getting the right amount of oxygen while you sleep… And your airways stay clear. You wake up less frequently through the night… And you don’t snore or get dry mouth. So overall my sleep quality improved a lot. I started to fall asleep faster… Plus I stayed asleep longer. Now the second thing I noticed was a little more unexpected.. I had so much energy I even started to exercise more and improve my diet… Which is something I’ve struggled with for a long time until I started using PAP MD. But because this tape makes CPAP therapy more effective… You have more energy when you wake up. My sleep was so bad for so long that I forgot what good sleep feels like. Once I started using PAP MD… I felt like a totally different person. I had more energy to make it through the entire day. I didn’t have to take naps or drink coffee all day long… And when I got home I didn’t just collapse onto the couch and sit there until it was time for bed. I actually started exercising and enjoying hobbies I used to love. Which brings me to the third thing I’ve noticed… I’m also more focused. And that’s because my sleep is so much better that I’m thinking clearly again… My ability to focus and concentrate has improved dramatically. And it’s making a difference with my work. So to summarize… - I’m sleeping better, - I have more energy to exercise and eat right… - And I’m more focused and motivated at work. Which is amazing. Especially because this tape is so easy to use. There’s no major diet, or lifestyle changes involved. You just put a strip of PAP MD tape over your mouth before bed and it stops mouth leaks, snoring and dry mouth. I was worried I would feel uncomfortable or claustrophobic. But that didn’t happen. The material is so soft that you get used to it almost right away. I forgot there was anything covering my mouth after a couple minutes. And it starts working on night one. It gently holds your mouth closed while you sleep. Ending mouth leaks so your CPAP can do its job. And you sleep better. I woke up feeling refreshed and rested after the first night. And I’ve been feeling better ever since then. Even better? My AHI went from 15… down to 2 most nights. I even had my first night with ZERO events. That never happened before starting PAP MD. The reason it’s so effective is because unlike a full face mask or a chin strap… PAP MD gently holds your mouth closed while you sleep. So it makes mouth leaks impossible. If you use a CPAP you need to try PAP MD. This tape is a no brainer. It makes therapy safer and more effective. Right now you can try it risk free, for the lowest price they’ve ever offered.
