A new model, updates to Claude Code, and a redesigned voice mode. Here’s everything we released this past month. Claude Opus 5 is a thoughtful and proactive model that comes close to the frontier intelligence of Fable 5 at half the price. Record your screen while you do a task once, and Claude turns it into a skill it can repeat. Claude Code on desktop now works with the iOS simulator. Build and run your iOS app, and the simulator opens in a panel right next to your conversation. Max plans and premium Team and Enterprise seats now include Fable 5, up to 50% of weekly usage at no extra cost. Claude Code on desktop now has an in-app browser, so you can open documentation, issue trackers, or any other site next to your running app. Verified K-12 educators in the US now get free access to Claude, with a library of teaching skills and evidence-based curricula mapped to standards in all 50 states. Voice mode now runs on newer models, can use your connectors mid-conversation, and supports more languages. We’ve extended the 50% increase for Claude Code through August 19, on Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans. Claude Cowork on web + mobile is now available on Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, rolling out to Pro in the coming weeks.
