Frank was homeless and living on the street. Without any family around to support him, he felt lonely and isolated. He didn’t know where to go to find help - without food or shelter, every day was a struggle to survive. But because of a compassionate person like you, Frank was welcomed in for a hot meal at Hope Mission. And immediately, he knew he was in a place that would help him. “I loved the smiles of the people when I was walking in!” Frank remembers. After the meal, Frank was given a safe, warm bed to sleep in. He was able to take a hot shower, do laundry, and get connected with a housing worker. Above all, Frank found a community that surrounded him and cared for him in a difficult and lonely time. Today, he knows he is not alone. There are many other vulnerable people like Frank who are in desperate situations and struggling with hunger - but you can help. By giving a meal to a neighbour in need, you will provide life-changing and compassionate care to the people in our community who need it most.
