Comment SERMON to watch the full sermon “How to Have Intimacy with the Holy Spirit” 🔥🕊️ Here’s one hard pill to swallow: sometimes the demonic realm understand the power of prayer more than Christians do 😣😳 Do you remember in Mark 6 when Jesus delivers the demonic from the legion of demons? Notice how the demons respond to Jesus. “And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him. And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.” The demons in this man trembled before the presence of God, knowing the authority Jesus had over them. Jump a few chapters later to Mark 9, the disciples couldn’t drive the demon out of the little boy because of their lack of faith! Jesus tells them “this type can only come out through prayer…” which suggests that their prayer life wasn’t where it needed to be. Like the disciples, so many Christians lack an understanding and conviction about the power of prayer. We’re LAZY!! It’s not enough to say a prayer at night time before bed… if we want to see revival, we need to do what the great revivalists did: they spent 2 hours a day in prayer! Stats show the average pastor in the West only spends 4 minutes a day in prayer 😱 4 MINUTES! Something needs to change! It’s time the Church wakes up and chooses to fight in the spiritual realm the way we are supposed to! What good is political engagement and fighting the cultural war without PRAYER and intercession? Prayer is warfare! The battle is spiritual - so we need to fight in the spirit for God to have His way! 🙏🏻⚔️🔥
