Ad text
A year and a half ago, I was bigger. Stronger. At my peak. Then a torn rotator and labrum took me out… and everything I built felt like it slipped away. Now I’m 4 weeks back into lifting heavy again, and yeah… I’m excited and feel amazing. I can see it coming back. I can feel it. But if I’m being real? Some days I still look in the mirror and all I see is what I lost. It’s wild… how you can be making progress and still feel behind. How people can look at you and see strength, discipline, consistency… while you’re stuck comparing yourself to a version that doesn’t even exist anymore. That’s the mental side nobody prepares you for. So this isn’t perfection. This is fitness, health, longevity & rebuilding. This is showing up every damn day in the gym and for myself even when it’s frustrating. This is learning to respect the process again… even when your mind tries to tear it down. And maybe the real win isn’t getting back to where I was… it’s becoming someone stronger for having to rebuild it all. I think we all suffer from Body Dysmorphia... Do you actually like what you see in the mirror? Are you harder on yourself than anyone else ever could be? Do you see progress… or just flaws? And do you think you’re seeing reality… or something completely different than what everyone else sees?
