I love when a book has a steady pace when it comes to falling in love. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plot twists & betrayal - can Zoe fulfil the plan that her adopted father Byron has trained her for all her life? Did Damiano kill her father? A slow burn build-up to the passion between Zoe & Damiano, but the banter between them proves their attraction to each other. The ending is explosive, bringing pain & bitter truth. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love Damiano! Such a strong, hot mafia male lead! And Zoe is perfect for him, even though she was actually a plant to ruin him! He was harder to ruin than she thought! He captures her heart regardless and proves that what she thought she knew was not right! The twists and turns keep coming! Deception is rampant!
