Big changes are coming to our national school system. With the Ministry of Education (MOE) moving toward Primary 1 entry at age 6, the landscape of Early Childhood Education is being redefined. Why the demand for Certified ECE Educators is skyrocketing: 1️⃣ The 2027 Entry Age Shift: Parents are no longer looking for daycare, they are seeking high-quality pre-schooling to ensure 5 year olds are academically and emotionally ready a year ahead of schedule. 2️⃣ The 100% Qualification Requirement: Per MOE guidelines, a Diploma in ECE is now the mandatory minimum for all preschool teachers. 📜 3️⃣ The Science of the First 5 Years: 90% of a child’s brain develops before age 5. Parents are increasingly aware of developmental delays and are demanding trained specialists who understand brain science, not just supervision. The Opportunity is NOW. 🚀 By the time the 2027 policy fully rolls out, will you be the one leading the classroom? Whether you are starting fresh or a working teacher looking to upgrade via ODL (Online Distance Learning), City University Malaysia has the pathway for you. → DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (R2/0112/4/0041) (MQA/FA 3571) 02/2029 → DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION - ODL (N-DL/143/4/0167) (MQA/FA 11926) 11/2024 → BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION) HONOURS (R/143/6/0109) (MQA/FA 3817) 10/2025 🎓2026 intake now open!
