Did you know that we also have soaps? 🧼 Over time we realized that many of you actually prefer soaps, and there are a few reasons for that: 1️⃣ It’s an easy transition from kipande soap. 2️⃣ It’s a more affordable option compared to facial cleansers. 3️⃣ Many of our soaps are gentler on the skin. 4️⃣ They can be used head to toe, not just on the face. Then later, when you’re ready, you can transition to facial cleansers. But why would we make soaps while tumewakataza kipande soaps? The answer is simple. The problem is not soap. The problem is harsh soaps. Soaps meant for laundry or general household washing often: • strip the skin • damage the skin barrier • cause dryness and irritation But skincare soaps formulated with proper ingredients can still be very beneficial for the skin. We currently have 5 soaps in our brand All of them are 450shs each. 1️⃣ Vitamin E Oil Soap This soap is most suitable for very sensitive skin, including: • dry skin • eczema-prone skin • skin that has become sensitive from many years of using kipande soap, bleaching products or steroid creams We also recommend alternating this soap with exfoliating cleansers like: • Salicylic Facial Cleanser • Anti-Fungal Facial Cleanser • Brightening Exfoliating Facial Cleanser Alternating with this soap gives your skin a break from exfoliation, which can help: • reduce irritation • slow down the purging process that sometimes happens with exfoliating products 2️⃣ Salicylic Anti-Acne Soap This one is best for people with acne who also have sensitive skin. It’s a gentler starting point compared to the Salicylic Facial Cleanser. You can start here and once your skin becomes more used to salicylic acid, you can graduate to: • the Salicylic Facial Cleanser or • the Salicylic + African Black Soap below. 3️⃣ Salicylic + African Black Soap This is the stronger version of the acne soap above. It works well for people with acne-prone skin that is not very sensitive. Once your skin adjusts to this one, you can graduate to the Salicylic Facial Cleanser for even stronger acne control. 4️⃣ Radiant Glow Turmeric Soap This is a beginner-friendly soap that helps to gradually: • brighten the skin • reduce hyperpigmentation • improve overall skin glow Turmeric is also antioxidant-rich and anti-aging. If you find the Brightening Exfoliating Facial Cleanser too strong, you can: • use this turmeric soap as your main cleanser or • alternate between the two. 5️⃣ African Black Soap This one we actually do not manufacture ourselves. We import it from West Africa in large blocks and then cut and shape it. African Black Soap has been used for centuries for skin healing. For people whose skin agrees with it, they usually become die-hard fans. However it is not for everyone. For some people it can be too strong or drying, so we normally recommend it only if your skin is not very sensitive.
