Genesis 6:4 reads "The Nephilim were on the earth in those days and—also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown." Moses writes that in the time of Noah, the Nephilim were on the Earth. It's the 6th chapter in arguably the most important book of the Bible. Then, right after this, we're introduced to God's plan to flood the Earth and wipe it clean from all the "evil." The craziest part of this verse is the "and also afterward." Implying the Nephilim are STILL on earth to this day, not in physical, but spiritual form. Genesis 6:6-7 then says, "The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled." Then, we're introduced to the parallel of Enoch and Noah. We learn Enoch walked with God, how Noah was blameless, what the Nephilim were, then immediately after, the Great Flood. Genesis 5:24: "Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." Genesis 6:9: "Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." I always thought how weird it was that Enoch walked with God, but his book wasn't included in the King James Bible. I knew the reason too. They weren't able to prove it to be authentic. But, when I saw this Joe Rogan clip with biblical scholar Wes Huff, my perspective shifted a bit. Joe said, "I had Representative Anna Paulina on the podcast, and she was talking to me about the Book of Enoch. If Jude trusted the Book of Enoch enough to quote it as scripture, why hadn't I ever read it? And, it wasn't only Jude who quotes from Enoch. Jesus did the same thing. Luke 17:26. "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of Man." The days of Noah are not described ANYWHERE in your Bible except Genesis 6-9. There's no detail. There's no story. The flood moves on. But Jesus is referencing the days of Noah like his disciples already know exactly what He's talking about. They did. They knew it from Enoch. The Watchers. The Nephilim.
