Yes, these are my first hearing aids, so I can't tell you they are better than - or worse than - anything else out there, BUT, what I can tell you is that after wearing them for 540+ hours I'm very pleased at the quality and comfort of my Beyond Pros. I did have to work a bit to find the right tips... ending up with the smaller perforated tips. Comfort has been good since settling on those. As far as the sound performance, these have a myriad of configurations and that's GOOD for people like myself who are tech-centric and don't mind experimentation. These would probably NOT be a good choice for someone who wants/needs something set by an audiologist then never having to fiddle with them again. I often reach for the app when moving from one significantly different environment to another... say out to our golf cart... then into a restaurant. You can create profiles for different environments and save them... and I think you can do that as much as you want... as granular as you want... if you want "Sports Bar" profile, you can create that... "Airplane" profile, sure... whatever. The noise reduction seems good to me... I tend to leave it on ADVANCED... and I don't typically need to alter that, even for different environments. Battery life so far has been excellent. The C-charged case is excellent quality... well, EVERYTHING about the hardware seems outstanding in build quality. The App is good. Not quite as intuitive as some my like, but doesn't take long to get used to. The Bluetooth works well... but performance with my iPhone is OUTSTANDING. I have even mentioned to others that the Beyond Pros are almost worth the price JUST for phone use. The quality of the sound is excellent, and equally important, the microphone seems to work VERY well. People I'm speaking with have had no problem hearing me. Overall... I think Elehear has a winner with the Beyond Pros. In NO WAY do I get the sense of some company trying to push some flashy junk out there to earn a quick buck. You can tell there has been a lot of engineering, care in construction, App design, and even the packaging. Very much an "Apple" sort of experience unboxing. Again... I'm no hearing aid expert... but these are NOT being returned by me... I like them very much and it's wonderful to not be torturing my family, friends, and colleagues with "WHAT? Sorry... didn't catcth that." - Walter M, Verified buyer
