The Missouri Department of Conservation is bringing a fun, family-friendly Day on the River to Riverfront Park in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the whole family and enjoy this FREE event featuring boat rides with MDC staff, fishing and casting activities, live aquatic animal displays, kids’ crafts, informational booths and more! Learn more about the Mississippi River, its wildlife and wetlands, and the many recreational opportunities it offers. No registration is required, and all ages are welcome! Boat rides are first-come, first-served, so arrive early if you’d like to hit the water!
