Position Overview: - Assist the payroll department and take over once you are trained! Duties/Required Skills: - Accounts Payable, gather and enter vendor invoices, print A/P verification report - Verify invoices for accuracy prior to processing (GL coding/jobs/amounts, etc.) - Process check payments - File A/P (alphabetical w/newest date in front) - Payroll, gather timesheets/timecards/records - Verify timekeeping, transfer time to typed timesheets - Enter all non-taxable income and miscellaneous purchases for payroll deductions - Additional duties and required skills on our website Qualifications/Skills: - Strong Payroll and A/P including CA labor laws regarding OT, DT, meal periods, weighted average - High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality - Additional qualifications and skills on our website Minimum Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in payroll - Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft suite programs - Reliable attendance and ability to meet strict processing deadlines - Additional requirements listed on our website - Drug test required - Background check required - Resume required Schedule: - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 8:00am-5:00pm - Temporary for 6-8 months (could turn into temp indefinite) Wage: - $22.00 - $25.00/hour!
