"THIS gardening hack feels ILLEGAL" As I have been getting older, many tasks that used to be so easy have gotten difficult. I used to love watering my garden and just being 'in the moment' with nature. Arthritis and sore joints have been troubling me for quite some time now. I miss the days where I could spend hours in the garden without having to worry about lifting heavy tools. I saw Beverley, my neighbour in her backyard last week with the biggest smile on her face. I needed to know why. I asked her how her garden looked so lush and beautiful, she said "come and look at this". She showed me her brand new hose she got from Better Gardens. It never tangles, never kinks, and is as light as a feather. The best part about it is it shrinks down so small when not in use. It just makes it so easy to store. I no longer have to worry about pulling my back unwinding a heavy hose from the holder. I feel like I have gained my independence back. And all I had to do was get a new hose - I had no idea these things even existed. Now when my grandkids come over, I get to spend time with them rather than having them do my watering.
