🇸🇪 Sweden's citizenship law has changed. Knowledge of Swedish and of Swedish society is now part of the requirement for applicants aged 16 to 66. The levels in the government's proposal: A2 for speaking and writing, B1 for reading and listening. Important detail: you may not need to sit a test at all. Migrationsverket accepts other proof, including school grades, SFI course D, municipal adult education and folk high school. The test is what you're offered if you can't show the knowledge another way. Either route, the level is the level. And the language test itself isn't running yet. Which means right now you have time to build it properly instead of quickly. ⏳ 📚 Swedish for Swedish Citizenship.
