Ever since my dog, Rex, was a puppy, he’s had a sensitive tummy. With frequent bouts of gas, bloating, and loose poop, our quest to find the perfect diet for him felt never-ending. Even when we switched him to one of the most highly recommended raw diets, we still found ourselves at the vet every few months for anal gland expression. If we didn’t, he’d start scooting across the carpet or constantly licking his back end. When spring came around, things got even stranger — Rex started grazing on grass all the time and occasionally going for… let’s just say very questionable snacks 😬 We tried everything — bran, oats, even Greek yoghurt — but nothing really worked. Eventually, our vet suggested adding a pre & probiotic blend to his diet. The alternative was surgery to remove his anal glands, which we really wanted to avoid. After doing some research, we decided to try a probiotic chew supplement. We’ve been using them for just over two weeks now, and honestly — the difference has been huge. Rex barely grazes on grass anymore, his stools are firm, and the gas has settled down massively. The scooting? Almost completely gone. Best part — he actually loves the taste, so it’s not a battle to give them to him every day. It’s such a relief seeing him comfortable, happy, and back to himself again.
